Q. What is the difference between softwash and pressure washing?

A softwash or non pressure roof cleaning is a low pressure chemical roof cleaning. Most traditional pressure cleanings use up to 4,000 psi when cleaning a roof, which can take away the color of a roof tile, or even cause cracks in the tiles. Worst case scenario it can cause a leak. With a softwash roof cleaning you are letting the chemical solution (approved by roofing manufacturers) eat away at all the organic growth on your roof while whilst only using 35 psi. A softwash roof cleaning will last longer than a traditional pressure cleaning without all the potential damaging factors.

Q. What do you pressure wash?

Pressure washing on your ground surfaces such as a patio, driveway or sidewalks can eliminate all mold and mildew growth. In South Florida, we all experience the ever-changing weather. When you have mold and mildew on your walking surfaces you risk a potential slipping hazard. Pressure washing these surfaces can eliminate that threat for up to 6 months to a year.

Q. What do you softwash?

A softwash is the best and only way a roof should be cleaned. A trade secret that most homeowners are not aware of is that roofing manufactures will void a roof's warranty when it is pressure cleaned. By doing a softwash on roof tiles you can keep your roof warranty valid, while also getting the best roof cleaning possible.

Q. How long will this take?

A traditional softwash roof cleaning is not a long process at all. We hear all the time, "The last company I hired took 8 hours to clean my roof!", and that’s because it was pressure cleaned. With our softwash system, we can clean a 2,000 sq ft roof in under 45 minutes. Obviously, every job can vary depending on the work order. For most jobs though, we can be in and out within a few hours. We leave the home cleaned properly and to your satisfaction.

Q. Do I have to be home while you are working?

Simple answer is no. We understand not everyone can be home when we are scheduled to pressure clean, softwash or even paint a home. We will always do our best to work around a homeowners needs. Upon booking an appointment with us we place notes from the initial job booking into our system so that the employees have all the information needed on the job site.

Although we have access to every paint brand, we use Sherwin Williams products the most. When painting a home or commercial property we want to ensure the customer is receiving the best products on the market. We believe Sherwin Williams gives the best warranties and products based on the value.

Q. Can we match any color?

Yes! By using Sherwin Williams products to paint your home or business, we have access to their top -of-the- line paint matching system. From a paint chip, to the name and color code of another brand, Sherwin Williams can match them all.

Q. Is the softwash solution safe?

Yes, the main chemical in a softwash roof cleaning is 12.5% SH. This is a liquid chlorine that is diluted with water. The same chemical in any swimming pool.
